SKATE SURVEY

(1) What is the most common cause for you to go home from your session?-Beer or broken parts,as well as family time


(2) What is the most common cause for you to go home from your session - other than board breakage?-My daughter


(3) Do you carry spare parts or accessories when skating in places away from skate shops/hardware stores?-Tools and spares most of the time


(4) What are the spares that you carry?-Kingpins,bearings and a deck if I can


(5) If you don't have any spares when an issue occurs with your skateboard will you have some MacGyver way of thinking to solve this? Nope


(6) Do you own a 'T' tool?-I have a T tool,and a P tool


(7) Is there anything that you don't like or want changed on the 'T' tool? (such as more tools or improved shape/ergonomics)-Yea,make it like a socket set attachment also


(8) Would you buy a product that can deal with the malfunction or breakage of skateboards and skateboard related parts and accessories?-If it was proven functional and piss easy to use and buy,sure why not

(1) gets dark and theres no lights. or family. mostly family

(3) yeah i have a little first aid kit so to speak most of the time


(4) spare kingpin, couple of bearings, sometimes board if im rolling on an old one


(5) ive been to a mechanic in coonabarabran hours away from the nearest skateshop to get a special bolt to use as a kingpin.....grind kings suck


(6) its a L tool now. it snapped

fudgy stuff around where you hold it, longer allen key thing to hold it properly

it ok but it does not like to work on indys and allen key allways falls out and a re-threader would be a good addition and maybe a bearing extracter.

I useualy carry around a bearing or two and a few bolts, not just for me but for anyone else im with.

Yeah, if a wheel nut comes off and the axel of the truck is threaded, theres a few things you can do, try putting it on backwards, if you find plastic, rip a tiny bit (above the size of the nut) and put it on the tip of the axel, (heat it up if possible) then try screwing the bolt back on, try normal way up or backwards, and the plastic should work as a thread and grip onto the axel and last the rest of the day.

Used to, im pretty sure onlt one person is the crew owns it, then someones borrows it and forgets to put it back thent hey own it, then someone borrows it from them, etc etc
