Went to see him before work this morning, a few hours before he was due to go in for surgery. Despite the reality of his situation toms in fucking good spirits.
The operation should be done by now; from what I've heard they were going to have to amputate above the knee in order to fit the prosthetic.

i agree with sorg he is tough. he still will be abble to skate with one leg or no legs and he still will have that huge smile on his face.

In the past I had the priveledge of managing a skate team that Tom was apart of.
Tom has a great attitude to life and I'm sure this won't stop him.
